Hosted by: Patricia Suhrcke Patricia Suhrcke's former positions as Director of Research and Education of the Atlanta Historical Society and Assistant Director of the Georgia State Humanities Council gave her many opportunities to deal with dynamics of race relations and the challenges of a pluralistic community in the context of producing public programming. As an administrator and conference coordinator, Dr. Suhrcke has wide experience in working collaboratively on an institutional and organizational level, and a strong track record in raising funds from federal, state, corporate and foundation sources. She holds a Masters Degree and Ph.D. from the University of Chicago, where she served as Dean of Students of the Humanities Division.
