Walking Astoria with an eye to moving here, I entered shop after
shop along Commercial, Duane and Marine, trying to get a feel
for the place, and I kept hearing this eclectic music being played
on their radios. KMUN, they said when I asked, and though
some people may not think it's a desirable result, it's one of the
reasons I decided to move here. That was in '04, and now
I'm in the station doing all manner of things, not every one of
them exciting, but always I feel it's a meaningful place to be.
