The Tillicum Foundation raises one-third of its operating budget from its stations' 1,500 subscribers, through
twice-annual on-air fundraisers and year-round membership renewals. If membership support went away,
so would Coast Community Radio. So many people who depend on your membership and deeply appreciate

This is the most effective way for a business or service to create a regular on-air presence, reaching Coast
Community Radio’s 16,000 listeners week in and week out. Underwriting credits or spots are 20 seconds
long, can include information about your company’s products and services, and can include a phone number
or web address. Individuals are welcome as underwriters. Use your credits in your own name, the name of
another individual, or donate your on-air announcement to a non-profit organization of your choice.
Underwriting schedules can be as short as a week or as long as a year, depending on the intent of the
underwriter; and they can take the form of whole-station or specific-program support. Underwriters can
target specific segments of Coast Community Radio's audience, or reach the audience as a whole. Contact

Over a dozen organizations and individuals specifically seek to double their gifts by challenging Coast
Community Radio's listeners to support the stations with matching contributions during its twice-annual
pledge drives, through providing challenge grants during the drive. This is a great opportunity for
businesses to give back to the community and create corporate good will at the same time. Challenge Grant
providers contribute $250 to $1,000 per pledge drive. Challenge grantors may select specific programs.
When Coast Community Radio goes on-air in April and September to raise money for its annual operating
budget, more than 60 local businesses contribute premium gifts ranging in value from $20 to $500, and
receive promotional consideration commensurate with their donations. Year in and year out, these
businesses consider Coast Community Radio's Pledge Drive Premiums a great tool for increasing awareness

When Coast Community Radio hosts events in the community, we look for sponsors interested in cause
related marketing. When you help market a worthwhile community non-profit you earn valuable publicity
through association with that organization. By attaching your name or that of your business to one of our
special public events you receive certain promotional benefits. These may include mention in recorded or live
broadcast announcements, print advertising, posters and other materials. Your organization can capitalize
on this good will by sponsoring CCR special events.
Coast Community Radio offers tickets to performing arts and other events throughout the listening area.
Ticket providers offer 3-pair blocks of tickets and in exchange receive on-air promotion for doing so.
