Terry grew up in Long Beach and Ilwaco, Washington, then spent seven years in the US Coast Guard as an electronics technician, followed by four years in Navy Aviation as RADAR operator.
He has much radio and some television broadcasting experience: with KLSN and KXA in Seattle as a classical DJ; with KGHO in Hoquiam as program director and DJ; and many other stations in the Northwest, adorned with titles like Transmitter Engineer, Audio Engineer, and Assistant News and Sports Director.
Terry returned to his native coastal stomping grounds in 2000 with his wife of 29 years, Barbara.
Since his arrival at Coast Community Radio at the end of 2002, our turntables turn, our DAT's skip not at all and Megler Mountain (and our transmitter) has a new, regular visitor.
